Daria's Interview 1

Daria paused before answering. She knew the answer to his question but just wanted to pause and give it some drama.

Plus she also wanted to remind herself that she had been through so many interviews in the last few weeks, she really needed this one to cover her rent.

"I have to admit that I think your writing has been rather lacking in the past. The latest work, while getting great reviews, lacked character development. I hope I'm giving the chance to change that." She paused for a moment. "While keeping in the style of your last works and giving you the opportunity to sneak in as many CGIs and product placements as you can."

The man sat back in his chair and stratched his beard. For the 47th time in the last 10 minutes Daria thought while trying to keep her lunch down.

"How do you feel about science fiction conventions?"

"Love them," Daria said with a much of a straight face as she could. She still remembered her last one.

"Any problem with being around fan boys?"

"Can't wait to meet them." Steady stomache. It'll all be over in just a few minutes.

George Lucas nodded to himself and reached across his desk. "Congrats. I think I've just hired my new writer for Star Wars 7: The Fall of the Rebellion!" he said with a huge smile on his face. "And, if you do good enough, I'll give you a shot at the next two."

"I can hardly wait."
